Ultrasonology (US) of the central nervus system is increasingly recognised as a valuable tool in clinical practice. US has advantages over other neuroimaging techniques that allows an easy, widespread and safe implemetation for daily assessment of the brain and vascular in varius disorders, including psychiatric and neurocognitive disorders. In addition, new US techniques allow therapeutic applications for these diseases. This seminar aims to provide practical knowledge of the different applications of the US in psychiatric and neurocognitive disorders.
