Pediatric Radiologist
Ilias Tsiflikas is Adjunct Professor (APL) of Radiology, specializing in Pediatric Radiology, at the University of Tübingen, Germany. He holds the position of Vice Chair of the Clinic of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology and is the Scientific Director of the Pediatric Ultrasound Division at the same University.
His clinical expertise encompasses the full spectrum of diagnostic imaging, with particular focus on pediatric radiology, advanced ultrasound applications, magnetic resonance imaging, and radiation dose optimization in children. Throughout his career, he has played a leading role in the development and implementation of innovative imaging techniques aimed at improving diagnostic accuracy and patient safety.
Alongside his clinical responsibilities, he is actively involved in medical education and academic training, contributing to the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows. His research focuses on pediatric imaging, sonography, and advanced cross-sectional imaging, and he has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in international scientific journals.
