Stephan Kruck is Adjunct Professor (APL) of Urology at the University of Tübingen, Germany, and a Fellow of the European Board of Urology (FEBU). He chairs the Urology Section of the German Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (DEGUM) and the Imaging Systems Working Group of the German Society of Urology (DGU).

His clinical expertise encompasses urological oncology and advanced prostate cancer diagnostics, including robotic techniques. His key areas of focus include high-resolution micro-ultrasound, MRI–ultrasound fusion biopsy, and artificial intelligence in urological imaging. His work combines precise diagnostic assessment with individualized treatment planning for patients with urological malignancies.

Alongside his clinical responsibilities, he is actively involved in academic supervision and continuing medical education, including the scientific leadership of interdisciplinary courses in prostate imaging and cancer diagnostics. His research interests span urological imaging, medical technology, and the molecular basis and individualized treatment of urological cancers. He has authored numerous publications in international scientific journals.

Through his clinical, scientific, and professional society activities, he contributes to the development and teaching of modern ultrasound and image-guided techniques in urology. His approach integrates urological and radiological expertise to support accurate diagnosis and evidence-based, patient-centered care.
