Dr. Eman Tawfik is a Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. She specializes in electrodiagnosis and neuromuscular ultrasound (NMUS), with many years of clinical and research experience in this field. She is certified in neuromuscular ultrasound by the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R, USA).

Dr. Eman Tawfik is a leading national and international instructor and speaker in neuromuscular ultrasound. She has authored numerous publications in this field, including guidelines for neuromuscular ultrasound training and standardized neuromuscular ultrasound protocols.

She has also contributed to the development of the recently approved Neuromuscular Ultrasound Training Program of the International Federation of Clinical Neurophysiology (IFCN). Currently, she serves as a board member and Outreach Officer of the IFCN Society of Neuromuscular Imaging (ISNMI).
