Ultrasonology (US) of the central nervous system is increasingly recognised as a valuable tool in clinical practice. US has advantages over other neuroimaging techniques that allows an easy, widespread and safe implemetation for daily assessment of the brain and vascular in various disorders, including psychiatric and neurocognitive ones. In addition, new US techniques allow therapeutic applications for these diseases.
This informational seminar aims to highlight the different applications of the US in psychiatric and neurocognitive disorders.
