Ultrasonology (US) of the central nervous system is increasingly recognized as a valuable tool in clinical practisce. US has advantages over other neuroimaging techniques that allows an ease, widespread and safe implmentation for daily assessment of brain and vascular functioning in various disorders, including psychiatry and neurocognitive disorders. In addition, new US techniques allow therapeutic applications for these diseases. This seminar aims to provide practical knowledge on the different applications of US in psychiatry and neurocognitive disorders.
