Mohamed Bedewi

Dr Mohamed A. Bedewi is Professor of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging at the College of Medicine, Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, Al-Kharj, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. For more than 10 years, he has served as the Coordinator of the Radiology Course at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University.

He has authored more than 50 international peer-reviewed publications and three book chapters and serves as a reviewer for several international scientific journals. His research interests include peripheral nerve ultrasound, shear-wave elastography, and musculoskeletal ultrasound, with a particular focus on peripheral nerve senescence and the relationship between peripheral nerve changes and metabolic syndrome.

Prof. Bedewi has received training and collaborated with several prominent international scientific groups, including the group of Prof. Dr. Andrea S. Klauser at the Department of Radiology, Medical University of Innsbruck, Austria; the group of Prof. Dr. Gerd Bodner, Professor of Diagnostic Imaging and Head of the Ultrasound Division, Department of Biomedical Imaging and Image-Guided Therapy, Medical University of Vienna (AKH), Vienna, Austria; and the groups of Prof. Cartwright and Prof. Walker at the University of North Carolina, USA.
