High resolution ultrasound is becoming an essential tool in pneumonology because it enables a noninvasive, real-time characterization of normal thoracic structures as well as of associated pathologies. US improves significantly diagnostic accuracy and treatment planning, enabling a more individualized approach towards patients.
During this one-day, english speaking course we will cover the most important and relevant applications of transthoracic ultrasound in acute and chronic pulmonary disease, combining theoretical lectures with hands on training.
