

Liana Vogiatzi
Pediatrician – Pediatric Cardiologist
Liana (Styliani) Vogiatzi is a Pediatrician, specialized in Pediatric Cardiology and Congenital Heart Disease. She graduated from the German School and Faculty of Medicine of the Aristotle University in Thessaloniki.
She completed her five-year residency in General Pediatrics at the University Hospital of Bonn, gaining extensive experience across a wide clinical spectrum, including Neurology, Neonatology, Endocrinology, Allergology, Pediatric Intensive Care, and the Poison Control Center. With a dedicated focus on diagnostic imaging, she performed an extensive number of abdominal, cranial, hip, and soft-tissue ultrasounds in accordance with the official curriculum of the Medical Association of North Rhine, subsequently obtaining her board certification as a Specialist in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine.
She further sub-specialized in Pediatric Cardiology at the German Pediatric Heart Center (DKHZ) in Bonn—one of Europe’s premier institutions—focusing on the management of children with a single ventricle. Her advanced training encompassed Cardiac Intensive Care, the Hemodynamic Laboratory (diagnostic and interventional catheterization), and the outpatient ultrasound clinic, while she developed a specialized interest in fetal echocardiography. Following four years of fellowship, she was officially certified as a Specialist in Pediatric Cardiology by the Medical Association of North Rhine.
She is currently PhD candidate at the University of Bonn, while she already earned her Master of Science (MSc) in Vascular Ultrasound in 2023. Her Master’s thesis investigated the role of ultrasonography in fetal and neonatal coarctation of the aorta. Since 2022, she has been based in Thessaloniki, while at the same time she maintains a regular scientific collaboration with prominent centers in Germany. She currently runs her private practice in the Martiou area and serves as the Head of Pediatric Cardiology at St Luke’s Hospital in Thessaloniki.
